We are currently recruiting for Senior Operations Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Uxbridge. We are looking for highly motivated professionals with experience in management of operational teams who administer residential mortgage and loan portfolios in a highly customer focused environment within the financial services sector.

Your role will involve the day to day management and oversight of experienced mortgage administration teams, Client Relationship management, and system/operational development.

You will be working within an established department that is a key part of Pepper's operations, and you will receive ample support so that you can be successful in your role.

We would like to hear from candidates with good experience of oversight of several teams who are highly organised, motivated, and able to work effectively and accurately.

As a Senior Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of SLA objectives across multiple areas
  • Oversight of recruitment in terms of quality and headcount
  • Management of the department succession plan
  • Delivery of department Engagement plan
  • Delivery of performance data to Operations, Governance and Board
  • Management of Complaint volumes and RCA
  • Oversight of QA activity
  • Delivery of Internal Audit and GRC (Incident) actions
  • Oversight of Procedure update schedule
  • Chairing of Client Governance meetings and associated working groups
  • Attendance and reporting into the Loan Management Committee
  • Oversight of department training matrix
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards
  • Interact with other Senior Managers to provide project management expertise to deliver change
  • Implementation of new client originations & back books
  • Implementation of system enhancements to deliver efficiencies, regulatory compliance and to mitigate risks to the business

Essential Skills

We're looking for candidates with prior exposure to residential servicing operations, who can consistently deliver outstanding operational development and client relationship management, and who have a rudimentary understanding of relevant regulation and associated legislative policy and the impact this has on the role, particularly as they relate to loan and mortgage products.
