Tingdene Homes a successful and growing Park, Leisure and Modular Homes Manufacturer are looking for an experienced sales receptionist

This position based within the sales visitor centre providing full time coverage to the sales reception and administration support.  The main purpose of the role is to welcome all visitors to the exhibition centre and provide a high standard of service to the customer.

Carrying out all given reception duties as detailed or as required. Plus completing within set time scales all given administration.  Maintain good housekeeping and tidiness of reception and direct work area and ensure all health & safety requirements are met. 

Ensuring at all times the quality standards are met and workloads are managed and any issues are raised at the necessary level of management.

Overview of role and responsibilities:

  • Sales receptionist, responsible for incoming switchboard calls & the transfer of callers to relevant person or department, greeting all visitors & customers, handling initial customer queries & sales centre reception. Including: Notifying sales of customer arrivals, refreshments/ordering lunches, clearing refreshments, visitor sign in/out.
  • Servicing customer’s needs, notifying staff of visitor arrivals/refreshments.
  • Responsible for sales brochure administration, including maintaining brochure displays levels & completing all customer brochure requests.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining sales database and IT systems.
  • Responsible for all incoming post, opening, distributing and logging, plus the preparing of outgoing post for daily collection.
  • Reception administration or as required, including brochure displays levels, paper, stationary ordering & compiling weekly visit figures. Lead data entry & visitor letters.
  • Responsible for sanitizing visitor PPE daily.
  • Ensuring that you always demonstrate an attention to detail, and self-challenge in order to work more efficiently to service the department and the business.
  • Maintain general IT skills and knowledge.
  • Work as part of the team, ensuring an organised, safe clean and tidy working environment and that there is a work plan to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Take ownership of the role and develop new relationships.
  • Ensuring customer information and systems are maintained within GDPR regulations.
  • To learn or carry out tasks or duties as necessary, which may arise as the role evolves.

Additional Information

Salary dependent on experience. Saturday Working on Rota (Circa 2 in 4 Saturdays, additional pay).

Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 5.00pm

Friday 8.30am to 4pm
