Job Description

As part of the UK&I PUMA business, you'll gain unique industry exposure, work on amazing projects and be part of a team of experts sharing their knowledge. You will live and breathe the brand, rep the product and work with like-minded people who are passionate about what they do.

Reporting directly to the UK&I Run/Train Marketing Manager, you will execute the marketing strategy alongside the wider Performance Sports Marketing team covering the football, fitness, and running categories. This will include the day-to-day management of PR opportunities, influencer strategy, and content creation, grassroots initiatives, events & activations, as well as ambassador content opportunities and appearances – notably our portfolio of UK-based football players, athletes & influencers.

From a strategic perspective you will be the point of contact for Go-To-Market planning and wrap-ups across all product and brand campaigns – working closely with the brand comms, trade marketing, and sports marketing to collate all information required.

You will manage the press office where you will share PR materials and place product orders and be exposed to photoshoots and content creation. You will support in executing in-store Run/Train campaigns with selected trade partners. You will review, order, and send products to athletes, ambassadors, media & influencers, and you will work on bespoke packaging projects.

You will monitor results and report for uses of other internal and external teams where you will evaluate the process, performance, and future content. You will also support external partners with UK-wide footwear trial programs at external venues like running clubs, gyms, and stores.

Essential Skills

  • Ideally, you will have studied Marketing, or a similar discipline
  • A graduate with PR, communications, marketing, analytics and/or social media skillset
  • You will be organised, hardworking, confident, and able to plan and priorities your workload during busy times.
  • You will need to be able to network (internally and externally), work in a team, and be able to work independently/use your own initiative to get tasks completed.
  • It is essential that you are creative and have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative platforms is needed.
  • Knowledge and experience of social media and digital channels is desirable.
  • Whilst due to Covid-19, PUMA UK staff members are currently adopting a hybrid working arrangement (50/50), ultimately you will need to be based within a commutable distance to your relevant office.
