We have a new vacancy for a Painter & Decorator based in Wellingborough, at our undercover manufacturing plant carrying out all aspects of decorating and wallpapering on new built park homes and modular buildings. You will be working closely with the management office to resolve any issues and produce a quality finished home ready for delivery to our customers.

This is a painting and decorating role but you should be able to wallpaper and carry out all aspects of decoration to a high-quality finish.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate will live within 15 miles of Wellingborough, due to the shift pattern and overtime available.

Working within our undercover manufacturing facility | Core Working Hours are Monday to Thursday 7AM to 5PM - 38-hour week | plus Weekday, Friday, Saturday overtime available Site Hours 6AM to 6PM | Must have flexibility with working contractual overtime.

Essential Skills

• Experience in decoration and wallpapering.
• Applicants should be able to provide a high-level skill and understanding and have the ability to work to a high standard.
• Able to provide a quality finish in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, written, oral communication with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
• A good level of fitness and a head for heights.
• You will need experience preferably in the industry and construction disciplines such as house builders, commercial and leisure.
• Qualifications in painting decorating.
• Health and Safety awareness.

Desired Skills

• Preferably a background from the park home sector or modular building.
