The role is all encompassing. You will be validating the MD’s ideas, chairing our meetings, implementing the business plan, managing operations, undertaking projects, ensuring we have the right people in the right jobs and running HR and ensuring we meet our high standards of compliance.

This is a role that is going to suit someone with excellent people and communication skills, a keen eye for figures and superior organisational ability. Reporting straight to the MD, this role requires gravitas and leadership. We are so keen to hire someone with the right skills that we’ll consider any background. If you’ve worked in financial services all the better but we’re equally open to hiring someone with no real knowledge of financial planning or investment.

Benefits

20 days holiday plus Scottish Bank holidays plus paid holiday between Christmas and New Year, one day per week remote working with the possibility to increase this, 5% pension contribution. We also work a four-hour Friday if the week's work is done and the business is in a position to finish early.

  • A minimum of two years business and team management experience. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the broad principles and issues concerning HR management.
