This manager role opportunity will involve working with the managing director and the team to drive the business so that it meets its business plan objectives. The duties are varied, and you will have influence and management over the key areas of HR and team management, compliance and risk, marketing, project management budgeting and cashflow and ensuring we meet our business targets.

Key functions will be:

  • Coordinating and chairing management and review meetings.
  • Overseeing 3rd party relationships.
  • Monitoring and reviewing sales targets.
  • Ensuring a strong risk and controls strategy is in place.
  • File reviews and implementing regulatory changes.
  • Team reviews, 1-1s, recruitment and training, wellbeing HR management, team performance and team days and functions.
  • Budgeting, cashflow and income projections.

Essential Skills

  • At least two years business or team management experience gained from any industry. We’d be interested to hear from applicants with and without a background in financial services.
  • A good understanding of the workings of HR and running a team.
  • Highly organised, methodical and disciplined.
  • Strong communication skills – able to act as an integrator and liaise confidently with all people in the company.
  • Share our values.
