Job Description

We are currently adding to our Tingdene Modular Project Team building a new steel frame modular contract of homes.

The contract will run until around September 2021 on a short-term contract, PAYE basis at our Wellingborough site.

• We also have immediate opportunities on a sub-contractor basis
• We are also looking for an additional experienced Site Foreman with current first aid certification and staff H&S management experience
• IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE

The Opportunity

Adaptable, Experienced and Multi Skilled Traders who take pride in providing a quality finish on bespoke new modular buildings. We are now expanding our project team and want you to bring your transferable skills to our undercover Wellingborough, Northamptonshire based site.

Experience and skills required in the following areas:

• Carpentry 1st and 2nd Fix
• Kitchen & Bedroom Furniture Fitters
• Bathroom Fitting
• Window Fitting
• Door Hanging
• Fascia’s and Soffits
• Cladding Internal and external
• Insulation
• External and Internal Walls and Partition Build
• Construction of Roofs and Floors

Additional Information

Working Hours are between Monday to Friday 7 AM to 5 PM | plus weekday and Weekend overtime available

Site Hours 6 AM to 6 PM | Full flexibility required to achieve build targets | Overtime Required

Essential Skills

• Basic hand tools are essential
• Transferable knowledge and experience in the construction industry
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, written, oral communication with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels
• A good level of fitness and a head for heights
• You will need experience preferably in the industry and construction disciplines such as housebuilders, commercial and leisure
• Qualifications in construction trades
• Health and Safety awareness

Desired Skills

• Previous modular building experience 
• First Aid Certificate
