As a Job Coach, you will be engaging and inspiring people we support at Three Cs with the ambition of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support people to understand what employment means and explore the positive impact it could have on their lives.
  • Apply supported employment methodology, complemented by Three Cs innovations, to achieve agreed employment outcomes for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
  • Manage and co-ordinate a caseload of people we support in all aspects of their employment pathways.
  • Provide intensive 1-1 and/or group Job Coaching with the aim of securing paid employment.
  • Work in partnership with employers to create work-based opportunities for people which includes advocating and advising on inclusive recruitment practices such as work trials, reasonable adjustments and in-work supervision and training.
  • Support employers to build their knowledge, confidence and skills to provide effective support for on-going successful employment of people.

Three Cs are members of BASE – the British Association for Supported Employment and follow their Supported Employment model. BASE believes that ‘everyone can work with the right job and the right support’.

Additional Information

Salary: £26, 265 per annum.

Annual Leave-: 25 days per annum (plus 8 days Bank Holiday).

Essential Skills

You must have:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check,
  • Health clearance and Satisfactory professional references

You must be able to:

  • Work as part of a team, plan and manage your own workload in a pressurised and fast moving environment.
  • Communicate orally and produce a wide range of documents which are clear, well designed and accessible to the people we support.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Use all the components of Microsoft office and have competent IT skills.
