As a Vehicle Image Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing an engineer’s report on behalf of Insurance Companies. You will check all documents containing information on any physical damage, vehicle information, vehicle images, as well as any vital information regarding the vehicle, and make necessary amendments as required.
You will be responsible for conducting market research to identify the market value of the vehicle by considering all aspects of conditions including; mileage, previous damage, HPI data and other information. You will assign salvage categories using the ABI Code of Practice and considering company guidelines. You will be aware of our Service Level Agreements and adhere to the different processes to maintain our SLAs.
Training will be provided for our internal systems used in report writing.
This is a remote role working from home.
Ideally you will possess or be willing to enrol in the following related Professional bodies; MIMI, IAEA or IRTE and you will be familiar with insurance claims procedures and information requirements relating to claim types.
