Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Tingdene Homes marketing department as an in-house designer. We are looking for an experienced junior graphic designer or recent graphic design graduate who is keen to take the next step in their career.

Diligent and self-motivated, the candidate must have a passion for design and creative and be keen to develop their career further within the field. They will work very closely with the marketing team to help execute marketing objectives and strategy by delivering high quality, on-brand creative.

The Opportunity

The role requires a highly creative individual with an appreciation for branding and brand values. They will have a good understanding of various forms marketing assets to be able to offer innovative and exciting solutions. It would be highly beneficial for the candidate to have a flair for language to be able to assist in writing copy for ads and other creative.

The ideal candidate will also be able to create high quality content for social media channels, contribute to the planning and execution of campaigns, product launches and branding exercises. They will update brochures, create new ad campaigns, digital advertising creative, signage and more.

Reporting to the marketing manager, the graphic designer will have the opportunity to develop their skills and gain experience working alongside our external creative agency. They will have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the department and help steer the brand and identity of the company.

About the Role

• Create engaging content in line with marketing strategy for social media and online platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube & Pinterest.
• Conceptualise and create on brand email creative.
• Create unique and eye-catching on-site graphics.
• Design and prepare presentations and report documents.
• Update & refresh brochures, datasheets and other marketing documents maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Act as a brand guardian to maintain a level of consistency and make sure all content is in line with company brand guidelines.
• Create new ad creative for both print & digital in-line with marketing strategy and plans.
• Refresh branding throughout all company documents, working through all departments.
• Update signage throughout the company and work on new showroom projects.
• Create bespoke marketing materials to support partner parks.
• Assist in creating new and unique creative for events including flyers, leaflets, stand designs and more.
• Create print designs and layouts.
• Work with the marketing on creating innovative & engaging visuals.

Additional Information

Core Hours of Work are between: 8.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Essential Skills

Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level in Graphic Design or a closely relevant field.
• Minimum grade B GSCE in English language

Experience:

• Strong understanding of branding concepts and implementation of brand guidelines.
• Excellent understanding of graphic design concepts and best practices.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Passionate about design & branding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with across internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Highly organised, with proven ability to work accurately and quickly with little supervision.

Desired Skills

• One year in a graphic design role.
• Experience with video editing and motion graphics.
• Good understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Some skills and experience in creative content writing.
