Job Description

An IT services consultancy that works with 1000s of organisations across the world, is seeking an enthusiastic graduate to join their team as a Project Coordinator.

Sectors they supply to include manufacturing, distribution, customer service, construction and many more.

This supporting graduate role will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge of the industry and provide the opportunity to develop and learn the full project lifecycle. 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role will be a combination of a consultant and a project manager, as you will oversee and work on multiple projects. This can include handling the budgets of the projects, communicating with third parties and maintain the quality of each project. You will be working closely with the Operations manager and other departments to ensure each sector has the same objective.

Within this role there will be administration requirements, where you will have to log project progression, bookkeeping and quality management etc. High levels of organisation will be needed, as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously.

You will assist in the implementation of MRP/ERP systems, suppling companies with the software and aiding in the installations and training of customers on the systems.  

Essential Skills

  • Ideally a graduate from a business management or business information services degree, but qualifications in a similar field will be considered
  • Confident with Microsoft office applications, as these will be utilised daily
  • Strong communication skills, to aid in the liaising with third parties
  • Knowledge in project management
  • Able to work under pressure and able to solve problems when they arise
  • Able to meet deadlines, to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Ability to quickly understand business and system processes with customers

The job is an office-based role in Southampton, while you are training to get familiar with the role. Once confident within the role the ability for hybrid working may be possible.
