Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic French speaking graduate looking to join a fast growing company based in Oxfordshire? This is a fantastic permanent opportunity with good prospects for progression within the business.

Training and support will be provided and there are good prospects of progression within the business.

This role will include ensuring sales orders are communicated to the warehouse and that timescales are agreed with the customers to make sure they are satisfied. You will generate quotes on exports for customers where you will display price lists, product listings, and promotions.

You will liaise with customers to arrange product samples and then follow up to see possible orders. As well as communicating with the sales team to ensure that they know stock availability to allow them to sell through stock heavy products.

Communicating with the logistics partners to rectify any issues that might arise with orders and then keep customers updated with their orders and any delays that might happen.

You will assist in organising export trade shows and exhibitions where you are likely to research, communicate with clients and organise samples. In addition, you will Support other teams within the business where needed, for example, within the finance team you could assist by chasing overdue payments.

Within this role you will also provide translations in French for catalogues, packaging, website and merchandising as required to allow the customer to understand what they are looking for.

Essential Skills


  • Speaking and written French language skills
  • German speaking and written is desirable but not essential
  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Be able to communicate with customers and other teams within the business
  • An ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines under pressure, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, you must be confident and able to talk to customers both on the phone and via email.
  • Good IT skills – must be able to learn how to use their business and product management software effectively.
