Depot Based Chassis Engineer - Winchester

AFI-UPLIFT are currently recruiting for a chassis engineer to work out of the Headbourne Depot near Winchester

The role in brief:

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), services, repairs, manufacturer updates and maintaining the corporate image on our fleet of Van Mounted Platforms and Trucks.
• Accurately complete all necessary recording of checks, following company procedure at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the engineering team and hire office to make sure that the depot maintains maximum equipment availability.
• Working a minimum 45-hour week.

We would welcome applicants with the following skills; Chassis Engineer, Engineering, Communication, PDI, Servicing, Repairs, Maintenance, NVQ Level 2, Fault Finding, Diagnostics, Mechanic, Mechanical Engineer, Ford, Iveco.

Essential Skills

The ideal candidate:

• You must hold an engineering qualification – minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
• You will be experienced in fault finding / diagnostics.
• You will be working closely with customers and colleagues, so you must be able to communicate professionally.
• You must be able to prioritise tasks in an ever-changing demanding hire environment.

Desired Skills

Ideally have mechanical knowledge in Ford / Iveco transits.
