PETA Ltd are working with an award winning insurance broker to source an Administration Apprentice (Insurance). This is an excellent opportunity to develop core administration skills including communication, customer service and record keeping.
Training to be provided: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15 month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
About the role
The Administration Apprentice (Insurance) will primarily be dealing with telephone enquiries and referring them to the appropriate person, whilst ensuring that all communications with insurers or customers are accurately recorded on file, or electronically, as per the Firm’s usual procedures. Other duties will include:
• 20 days paid holiday and 8 statutory days holiday • Free off-road parking for staff • Progression routes within the company for the right candidate • Further insurance exams and training offered to become a qualified Insurance Broker
Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm 35 hours per week with 1 unpaid hour for lunch

It is desirable to possess a willingness to develop knowledge of insurance and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internal to the firm and externally. Candidates will ideally be able to work on their own initiative.
