We are currently recruiting for a UK-based Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor to work with our experienced commercial team at our London office.

Due to planned growth for the foreseeable future, we have an opportunity for an Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join us.

This is a fantastic opportunity with excellent career prospects. 

The role would suit someone with experience of a QS/commercial role.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

• Handling, controlling, and billing of work record sheets
• Preparation of billing for a variation work elements
• Responding to client queries
• Preparation of applications for payment and submission to the client
• Identifying pricing and agreeing change
• Sub-contract appraisals
• Cost reporting
• Preparation of detailed final accounts

Essential Skills

• The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, with a Quantity Surveyor qualification
• Highly organised and motivated
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deal professionally with people at all levels
• Ability to prioritise workload to ensure delivery is achieved within set timescales
• Computer literate, with the ability to learn new software packages quickly
• Plenty of initiative and an innovative approach to problem-solving
